Whew Wednesday is taking time to pause and reflect on where you are mentally, emotionally, and physically in the middle of the week. Tuning in with your self and doing a check in. It’s about finding ways to detach your self from yesterday day woes and generating a positive mind set for the rest of the week. I don’t know about you but come Wednesday, I’m DONE.
Story time: While discussing motivation and lack of confidence this week with a client, I had a “ah ha” moment. We were talking about being organized and how frustrating it is to see other people who “have it together”. I told her these exact words, “There is someone in the world wishing they were where you are right now”. As the words slipped out, I quickly realized that was for me too. I don’t do a lot of complaining, at least not out loud, but I have my days where I’m praying a particular thing will happen for me. This was the reality check I needed! Here’s what I will be taking with me the rest of the week and leaving behind.
GRATEFULNESS: Grateful for life and getting though some of the toughest times of my life. Recognizing my own success, but also humbling myself knowing I am a work in progress. No one has arrived!
Leaving behind COMPARISON: Everybody has their own mountain to climb. We only see what others are dealing with on the outside. You never know what a person is going through. Comparison is the thief of joy! My path was made for me, and only I can walk it.
YOUR TURN
How are you doing?
What has your week been like so far?
What’s going well?
What was something that bothered you? How did you react or not react?
What are you leaving behind and what are you taking with you into the rest of the week?
What do you want the rest of YOUR week to look like?
NOW: take a few minutes and love on your self. What would you say to a friend or family member who needed some encouragement?
Wishing nothing but great things for you as you finish out the rest of your week!

@shantisha33 and @Nashlie Thank you for always supporting. 😘
Thank you for this, I definitely needed this reminder and encouragement with how crazy the week has been.
I had a client pass away this pass weekend and that made me stop in my tracks. I am definitely grateful for where I am in life.
